The 2015 edition of the Northumbria County Closed will be held at Tynemouth over the weekend of 23/24/25 January.
There’s a big entry, with Men’s, Women’s, Vets and Doubles events, so the place will be buzzing for those three days, and we’ll be using the club site to help you keep track of events …

Tynemouth is well represented, with Jon Evans, Sean Millington and Andrew Walsh in the men’s A event, Lucy Beecroft, Sam Ward and Hannah Cliff all in with a chance of taking the women’s title.
Evans is actually in four events, the Men’s O45, Men’s O55, and the Doubles (with young Sam), but there’s plenty of Tynemouth presence in each of those draws.
We’re guaranteed to have the Women’s O40 champion with Gill Millington and Dawn Ward straight through to the final, and the club has chances in the Men’s B, C and D events too.
